SINPAR FTC-AD1 Automatic Reference Fuel Blending System Unit is used for the automated preparation of cetane and octane reference fuels and standardization fuels for cfr octane cetane engine, according to ASTM D2699, ASTM D2700, ASTM D2885, and ASTM D613.
Octane Cetane Reference fuel blending system prepares the reference fuel blending by weight (using a precision electronic balance) based on the ASTM test methods.
With the automatic calculation and control program, it delivers the accurate and reliable fuel blend value with the precision of 0.01ON/CN.
Reference fuel blending system is equipped with six tanks of 10 liters each. (for Iso-Octane, N-Heptane, Toluene, 80/20 blend, N-Cetane, and Heptamethylnonane (HMN)/Alpha-methyl-naphthalene (AMN) ). The blending components are pumped one by one into a vessel, located on an electronic balance.
The build-in touch screen panel with the professional software controls all blending process, and makes blending operation simple. The operator just needs to select the standard method, input the target octane/cetane number and sample volume, start blending. The fuel blend is delivered automatically. Blend data is automatically saved in the computer.
Compared to the targeted octane/cetane number, the effective octane or cetane number may differ slightly (+/- 0.01 ON / CN). But will reflect precisely the actual composition of the blend.
